I was born and raised in Central Texas, and love living here and serving this community. After graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University in 2008.
Following graduate school, I worked with the Austin homeless population and provided mental health services to children in schools before settling into a career in medical social work. During the eleven years I spent working with those with terminal illness and complex medical issues, I developed a thorough and unique understanding of human relationships, grief, loss, and the struggles we face in finding meaning and connection in our lives.
I started my private practice in hopes of delivering compassionate and trustworthy care to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. I incorporate my curiosity about human behavior and my deep desire to understand others into my work with clients.
I have proudly worked with clients from diverse family backgrounds, income levels, cultures, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Beyond my passion to help clients on an individual level, I hope to remain an advocate in this community to promote broader social justice issues.
